GETTING THERE The Golden Gate Ferry Service fleet, Ferry Building (& 415/923-2000; www.goldengateferry.org), operates between the San Francisco Ferry Building, april ludgate at the foot of Market Street, and Sausalito. Service is frequent, departing at reasonable intervals every day except New Year s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Phone for an exact schedule.
